I'm a little late!

I'm so sorry!

But I have some content to share!

So, my original plan for this years anniversary was to release a buch of concept art back onto the site. And I'll do that! (For Origins)

As for concept art for Foundations, or Demise, I'll save it for late. See I want to rework a lot of Foundations, meaning I'll have to file for a new copyright and ISBN and such. It won't be any huge changes, but they'll be impactful enough. The plot and story won't change, I'll just be adding descriptions to make each scene better and potentially some extra fun content too, for those who want a deeper dive into Ngash. (That's all coming late though, probably with Foundations II)

Now, where am I at recently?

I have started getting my ducks in a row and even have better inspiration for how to finish Origins II. See, I've been sitting on the right ideas but the wrong execution. I also forgot a lot of reasons why I was writign the book the way I was. Origins II will be different from its prequel. Origin II's purpose is to push the specific plot forward for that time and story, not for the world as a whole. That is a major theme in my other books, pushing the overall narrative forward, but Origins II needed something else. So it's going to feel a bit different. Some people may not like it as much. (That's alright!)

Next, I have written a side story as a test of sorts. I'll release that on here too. Don't worry if it doesn't make too much sense, but content is content. (Also, it's not expertly edited, so overlook some minor confusions in unedited wording and such. Maybe it'll get more official treatment later on.)

Lastly, I've started a DnD campaign. I know DnD is not for everyone. (Just look at Stranger Things season 4) But it's a great way to develop some lore inside my world. So I'll release some info on what;s going on there, and try to work something out to make this content into a proper story. Only issue is, I allowed my players to create whatever sort of character they wanted. A lot used licensed characters from other medias. (ex. Spiderman, ewoks, Aloy from Horizon, etc.) It'll all be fine for that campaign, they're new players anyways so they're not even going to play their characters perfectly. But I'll find as way to change things around and make a loreful (and un-cpoyrighted) story out of their misadventures. If there story even goes anywhere. (I'm a bit of a new DM anyway, so it's not my best storytelling anyhow.)

Summary: the centent coming is this: concept art, a side story, and DnD lore/updates!

That's a lot more than I originally thought for this anniversary.

Last-last-last thing: where is the next book? That would make for a far better anniversary.

I understand, really I do. But I've been giving myself some grace these past few months, and that is going to end now. If I want to make something out of these stories, I need some fire under my butt. So I'm doing just that. But it's not as simple as jumping straight into the deep end once more. My plan is to release Origins II this year, that shouldn't be too far fetched of a plan. Then consider 2-3 more books next year since I'll be settled into life in the US again for that entire year, unlike this year where I've still been battling through it.

As a final ounce of news. My official planned release order is this:

Origins II (Late 2025)

Foundations II (Early 2026)

TBA (Mid to Late 2026)

Origins/Foundations III (Late 2026 or Early 2027)

Demise (TBD)

Caverns (TBD)
